Doggie Day is a Howling Success

Thank you to everyone that came to our Doggie Day event on 2 September – an incredible £1,160.04 was raised for Guide Dogs. The owner of Raven Imagery who was taking professional images of dogs at the event generously donated 100% of everything he made on the day (over £500). Other contributions came from people giving charitable donations to have a caricature made of them and their dog, or if their dog enjoyed a beverage at the bespoke doggy bar.

 

It was a spectacular day, with some very talented dogs winning cash prizes for waggiest tale, best coat, most handsome, most obedient and more. We had lots of best dressed competitors – but one chihuahua stood out from the crowd and took the crown. Dog trainers also provided some really helpful tricks and advice for dog owners.
