CELEBRATE THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON AT THE BRUNSWICK
On Thursday 8th February, between 4.30pm – 7.30pm, The Brunswick will be celebrating the year of the Dragon with a range of spectacular FREE events at the centre for all to enjoy.
Given the success of last year’s event, we have planned even more incredible performances, including four traditional Chinese lion performers, one full size dramatic dragon, two additional dragons, show-stopping stilt walkers in traditional Chinese costumes and dramatic dolly head dancers. We will also be installing Chinese decorations to add to the magic of the event.
The Brunswick has a fantastically broad Asian food offer including a brand-new store called Patisserie Millie, selling elegant Eastern and Western inspired cakes. Dage Noodles opened in 2023 and serves delicious claypot noodles and skewers. Plus, much-loved bubble tea shops Truedan and T4 offer light refreshments. Tian Tian Market sells a variety of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai and Vietnamese food; restaurant Hare & Tortoise also serves fresh handmade sushi, salami, ramen noodles and fried rice to visitors. Plus, for beauty enthusiasts there is cult brand Glam Touch, which is a one-stop destination for K-Beauty enthusiasts, including make-up staples to game-changing skincare, plus they will shortly be opening an onsite nail-bar.
Select stores at the centre will also be running their own special Chinese New Year promotions. At Truedan customers purchasing two beverages will receive a complimentary red envelope, containing a gift card, free drink voucher, beverage discount coupons, and more. Riding House Bloomsbury will also be handing out Red Envelopes to guests on the evening Thursday 7th February which will include vouchers for the restaurant.
