First Brunswickids event goes with a ‘Kapow!’
From 11am – 3pm on Saturday 16th March 2019 The Brunswick was transformed into vibrant, colourful, fun-filled party zone with lots of FREE activities for kids to enjoy and incredible numbers turning out to enjoy our ‘Go Superheroes’ event!
Our superhero-themed extravaganza took place in two of our empty stores, where young guests were enthralled and entertained by 11 performers from the The Platinum Performing Arts Dance School, who put on four performances, inspired by “The Incredibles” and “Frozo” throughout the afternoon – all dressed as superheroes. They also enjoyed the opportunity to meet the performers between shows and pose for photos with their heroes, to create a lasting memento of the day.
Giant statues of Hulk, Batman, Spider-man and Iron Man, adorned the centre, to set the scene and allow the little ones to strike a pose with their icons.
London-based children’s entertainers ‘Fun at Kids Party’ hosted general fun and games between the dance performances – complete with laser machines, bubble machines, foam machines, magic tricks and prizes up for grabs. With Phil on the decks, pumping out the high energy tunes, Vicky entertaining the little ones with amazing puppet shows, balloon modelling and comedy throughout the afternoon and the superheroes joining in the fun, it was an absolute blast!
It was a fantastic an afternoon of super-charged super hero fun, where the kids came (many in fancy dress) to let off some steam, completely FREE of charge – an ideal way to spend time with the family on this particularly cold and blustery March weekend!
